Healing of subarachnoid hemorrhage
A problem happened but the concert ended in success.
On November 1, 2009, our church's praise team held a gospel concert at
a shopping moll "Fawks Town"near the famous Yahoo Doom. As a
team member, I was singing and also playing keyboard as an accompanist.
Suddenly during the concert, I felt a sharp headache and it was getting
worse and worse as the program proceeded and finally, I almost lost my
sight and hearing. I continued my desparate effort to keep myself sitting
on the keyboard chair, then my consciousness came back at the last part
of the concert. On the other hand, our praise team, could continue their
praise with spiritual accord even without the accompanist. Thus, the concert
has ended in success. Halleluja !
Source of a hemorrhage was located at the very difficult place for a operation
The pastor of the church ( my husband) quickly called an ambulance car
and I was carried away to a hospital. At the hospital I was diagnosed as
subarachnoid hemorrhage. Usually, subarachnoid hemorrhage required an urgent
operation to save the patient's life, but in my case, The doctors thougt
it impossible because source of the hemorrhage was located deep inside
the brain and they were afraid of hurting an artery. They decided to carry
out the operation after 4 days with making all necessary preparations including
blood transfusion. So many people at my church and other churches in the
same church group prayed for me. On one day before the operation, senior
pastor with his wife came up to pray for me from Nagasaki. Unfortunately,
I do not remember clearly about their visit because of the medical treatment
I was then receiving, but I was told later that I was asking them,"please
pray that this operation will be suspended." Now I am sure that the
Lord used me to say that. The pastor so arranged that all church members
in Kyushu district may pray for this subject.
The operation was suspended.
On the day of the operation, three doctors were ready for starting the
operation from early in the morning. But the operating surgeon insisted
on to make one more examination before the operation start, saying that
there is something worries him. So a detailed testing using contrast medium
was made just befor the operation. I do believe that this was also the
God's work. The Lord put that thought into the surgeon's mind. The detailed
testing, however, could not locate the source of hemorrhage and the operation
was suddenly canceled. After the anouncement of cancelation, my husband,
the pastor of my church, saw the surgeon. He thanked the doctor and told
him that churches were praying that the operation shall be suspended. My
husband also had a chance to tell gospel to the doctor when he came to
my bed side later.
From the treatment room to the ordinary ward in 10 days.
After that incident however I was suffering from headache, bad condition
in whole body and persistent insomnia for many days. As I had a lot of
time and all kinds of pains were with me, I had enough opportunity to give
thanks to each one of those pains in the bed. This time, I really wanted
to have God's Words, but as reading the Bible was impossible, I prayed
for His Words. Then, the following Bible words flahsed in my mind. "you
will suffer persecution for ten days."(Revelation 2:10). I imagined
that I might be allowed to leave this treatment room and moved to a ward
and prayed that it may happen. Then in nexst ten days, my health conditions
began to be recovering quickly and on 11th day I was moved to a ward. This
amazing recovery really surprised nurses and hospital staffs. I am now
convinced that it was the healing of the Lord supported by prayer of churches.
I can see the blood stains but it is normal now !
On the 13th of the same month, I visited the hospital with my husband and
the doctor in charge gave us explanations showing photographs on the examination
they did. My husband told me later that he was praying to the Lord that
He might tell something through this doctor this time. The doctor said
that they found the possible source of hemorrhage but they could see only
yellow bloodstains now. "This is a quite rare case to happen. I cannot
denny the possibility of the recurrence as you didn't have an operation,
but now only thing left for you to do is praying." Through doctor's
these words, we could feel that the special power of the Lord was working
richly and we gave thanks to Him. After two weeks from hospitalization,
I could leave the hospital.
Collapsing while singing gospel might be something curious for many poeple,
many nurses came to me and gave me various questions, which was good opportunity
for me to tell testimonies or to invite them to join our praise team. God
uses all kind of things for His work.
I am giving thanks now to many churches and each one of the member of
those churches who prayed for me and my family. I also pray that more and
more glories of the Lord may appear to us all through the comming New Year
!
